Technical Features of PRO_SAM
Equivalent Frame Modeling
It uses an equivalent frame modeling approach that allows detailed analysis with reduced computational effort compared to modeling with plate, shell, or brick elements using nonlinear materials.
Multimaterial Management
It is fully integrated with PRO_SAP, allowing simultaneous management of different materials and interaction with modules for foundation verification and local mechanism analysis. It enables the design of new or existing structures made of reinforced concrete, ordinary masonry, reinforced masonry, and FRCM-reinforced masonry with nonlinear behavior. It also allows the inclusion of steel, timber, and generic materials with linear elastic behavior.
Multimodal Force Distributions
It includes G1-type force distributions (triangular, corresponding to the pattern of accelerations of the fundamental mode or to the floor forces on each level) and G2-type distributions (proportional to masses or multimodal with at least 6 significant modes) as required by the technical building codes.

Versions and Manual
PRO_SAP offers two paid versions designed to meet the different needs of designers. Both provide the same features but differ in the number of manageable nodes. The LT version is the most affordable solution for those who are just starting out or use the software occasionally, while the PR version is ideal for professionals who need a complete and high-performance tool for advanced structural design.
