From 29 October to 27 November 2026, the advanced training course “Seismic vulnerability assessment and intervention strategies for existing reinforced concrete buildings” will be held, organized by 2PS Formazione Tecnica. 2SI, a Rocscience Company takes part as a lecturer.
The topic is central to today’s design practice: a large share of the Italian reinforced concrete building stock was built before modern seismic codes, with construction details, materials and design choices that require a different analysis approach from the one used for new buildings.
